The mascara gives me wonderful eyelashes - very impressed! I will buy againI’ve been using the mascara for a few days now, liking it so far. The steel container is heavy duty.But why is it sent in a nylon bag, that is not recyclable or compostable???!! Ruins the entire effort of buying this product!I’m not sure about this. It’s good and I like that it’s vegan but I really can’t see much difference in it compared to the store name brands. I don’t feel like it’s worth the price really. But I feel like that about mascara a lot. There’s only a few brands I’ve ever tried that I would pay that price. My lashes are on the normal side. Not long. They are sort of thin. It’s hard to tell because they are blonde. It’s hard to find anything that will make them look impressive. So it could just be me. This stays on and doesn’t smear. It’s easy enough to remove with makeup remover.Lengthens and adds volume, easy to remove with makeup wipes. Doesn't clump up which is a plus!This company has the right idea with zero waste vegan mascara. This mascara comes in a heavy, which was the first thing I noticed about it, aluminum container. It also comes in a rather large nylon bag. I’m not sure a bag big enough to hold several containers of mascara was necessary, but it’s a nice bag. The plan is to send the mascara tube back when empty and the company will send a refill. Great concept! The mascara is a very good one. It lengthens my lashes nicely. I like that it washes off easily. I’m not sure that I’ll take the time to send the mascara back for a refill, but I might. Good mascara!This is an expensive mascara in my world, at $39.99. I’m normally a drug store $10 or less person, but in the last few years have developed some allergies and itchy eyes. I’ve tried several different mascaras on the market and I would say this one falls somewhere in the middle. It builds up your lashes well, but can get a little clumpy and dried out, especially towards the end of a long day, and I need longevity. This mascara is vegan and the company says it makes a commitment to sustainability and zero waste. They send the mascara in a reusable shipper and after 90 days, they say ship the empty container back to them. This mascara is also not waterproof. Overall, this Izzy brand wasn’t the mascara match for me, but if you support sustainable products or are looking for a vegan mascara, it’s worth a try.
